Rock West Composites is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech-Janitor to support regional facilities with cleaning and janitorial services.

Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of company facilities. This role performs routine janitorial and facility support duties while helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming work environment for employees and visitors.

What You'll Own

• Daily cleaning and upkeep of offices, production areas, and common spaces
• Facility appearance and organization
• Waste removal and recycling
• Basic grounds maintenance and exterior cleanliness
• Safe and sanitary work environment

Essential Functions

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming work environments. 
  
• Monitor facility supply inventory and restock janitorial, breakroom, kitchen, restroom, and other common area supplies as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and restroom maintenance.
• Clean and disinfect common areas and high-touch surfaces throughout the facility. 
  
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

Facility Support

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming work environment.
• Perform basic grounds maintenance, including mowing, landscaping, and exterior cleanup.
• Respond to facility cleaning requests and maintenance-related needs as assigned.
• Support facility improvement projects and perform other general facility duties as needed.

Non-Essential Functions

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, or general maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safe cleaning practices.
• Ability to perform routine facility maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
• Ability to safely use common hand tools and cleaning equipment.

Professional Skills

• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, lifting, bending, and walking throughout the shift.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Range: $20 - $25 (based on experience and skillset)
