Job Description

Position Purpose: Responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, auditing project alignment with overall technical or business strategy, guiding resource allocation, and supporting the development of project or program execution plans. Manages Agile / Lean portfolios and supports overall strategy, investment funding, Agile portfolio operations, and Lean governance. Applies the concept of lean thinking to program and product and coaches stakeholders on these concepts to achieve objectives.Key Details: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J -1, OPT, or CPT.Leads the development, management and optimization of portfolio, program, and project management methodologies and disciplinesManages the development portfolio strategy and analysis deliverables and processesBuilds partnerships, based on trust and transparency, within IT and the various business unitsFacilitates the portfolio management processes to ensure strategic alignment on technologies and goalsDevelops and executes a portfolio change control, risk management and communications strategyManages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide leadership, technical guidance and coachingShares knowledge and develop staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practicesDevelops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve resultsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsEducation/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.Master's Degree preferredTechnical Skills:One or more of the following skills are desired.Experience with one or more of the following Other: ServiceNow, Flexera, and/or BDNAExperience with Data AnalysisKnowledge of Other: IT hardware/software assets. • Domain knowledge of applications and application platformsExperience with JIRASoft Skills:- Ability to lead/manage others- Collaboration and team building skills- Effectively coaches and delivers constructive feedback- Instills commitment to organizational goals- Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management- Effective conflict management skills- Develops and delivers effective presentations- Demonstrated negotiation skillsLicense/Certification:Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI requiredCertified Workforce Planning Professional preferredCertified in Governance of Enterprise IT preferredPay Range: $102,900.00 - $190,500.00 per yearAt Centene, we connect people to the care they need to live healthier lives — and the work you do here makes that impact real every day.
