The Print Shop Operator is responsible for the daily operation of the district print shop, including the production of printed materials, operation and maintenance of related equipment, management of supplies and inventory, and delivery of mail and packages. The operator also provides support to the Operations Department as assigned.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Maintain and operate the printers, copiers, bindery machines, folding machines and laminators.
- Schedule offset work by priority.
- Maintain supply of materials to assure proper operation of machines.
- Maintain, operate and supervise the operation of all machinery in the offset room.
- Ensure quality control for all print jobs.
- Perform minor maintenance, call for repair when necessary.
- Able to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming district mail and packages.
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including bulk and special mailings.
- Deliver interoffice mail, packages, and printed materials to school buildings and district offices.
- Must be able to tolerate a loud work environment.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
