Pay: $1,546 to $1,746 per week

About the Position

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Toms River, NJ. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain skills for everyday life. Apply and a recruiter will reach out with the details.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active New Jersey COTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start of assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. (Preferred)
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience providing ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and functional positioning to older adult populations preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Occupational Therapist and document patient progress in electronic medical records.
